During my time in manufacturing, I covered all aspects of the HR function from recruitment through to disciplinary, grievance and redundancy procedures. Worked closely with other departments, in particular with the Line Managers to assist them to understand and implement the policies and procedures. Liaised and negotiated with the staff and their representatives and was part of the pay negotiation committee. There were multiple sites within the group in mainland UK and Europe. Travel within these sites was a requirement of the role.

Since 2005, I have been an employment law consultant dealing with all aspects of employment law from disciplinary, grievance and family friendly processes to multiple redundancies and TUPE.

Outside of work, my interests are trying to defeat the minions on minion rush, without much success on occasions and listening to music on my ipod. I have a wide range of music tastes ranging from the good old motown songs, jazz, northern soul and current music.
