With over 25 years of experience, he has worked with a wide range of clients, delivering tailored health and safety solutions.

Education:
Andy holds a Degree in Chemistry with Honours from the University of Hull. He achieved a NEBOSH Specialist Environmental Diploma, passing with Distinction and gaining the top UK result in 2004. He also achieved the NEBOSH National Diploma Part 2 in Occupational Safety & Health with Distinction in 2003, the NEBOSH National Diploma Part 1 in Occupational Safety & Health with Credit in 2002, and the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health with Credit in 2000.

He began his career as a Research and Development Chemist for a chemical manufacturer before moving into the role of SHE Officer. He then became a Health and Safety Advisor for a property and facilities management company, before progressing into health and safety consultancy, where he has worked as a Safety, Health and Environmental Consultant.

Personal information
Outside of work, Andy is an avid skier, although he admits to being a bit of a snow snob and prefers skiing in Utah. He is also a keen road cyclist, with his longest sportive covering 184 miles. At home, he and his wife share their lives with three labradors, all with slightly off the wall names —Mushroom, Truffle, and Mango—which he jokingly blames on his wife’s creativity.
