Julie Davenport

Julie Davenport qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 while working at a family practice in Central Manchester. After qualification she moved to a larger firm in Stockport to expand her skills and knowledge.

She gained experience of working with larger businesses across the Northwest in the role of Audit Manager. After three years she was approached to join a Practice in Glossop where she took up the role of Partner, with responsibility for the management of the Practice and the firm’s ICAEW compliance.

Julie remained with the Firm for 10 years before leaving to set up her own Practice in 2011. Over the last thirty years Julie has worked with owner managed businesses of all sizes and across a broad range of industry sectors.

Julie has been with Avensure since it commenced trading in 2012. As director of finance, she is responsible for the company’s accounting and finance function. She has developed the company’s accounting procedures and practices ensuring that these dovetail with the business’s service delivery. She also manages the company’s growing fleet.

Her strategic leadership and decision-making have played a key role in Avensure’s growth over the past 14 years, contributing to its position as a market-leading business.
