Rebecca is an HR and Employment Law specialist with over 20 years’ experience. She currently leads a team of senior consultants within Avensure’s Special Projects team, specialising in risk management and complex case handling. Throughout her career, she has worked with businesses of all sizes and across multiple sectors, providing pragmatic, solution-focused guidance on all areas of HR and employment law, including redundancy, TUPE, absence management, and conduct.
At Avensure, Rebecca supports clients with employment law and HR queries while also leading special projects, delivering training, conducting legal research, and producing content for Avensure’s weekly newsletter. She has written legal articles for publication, drafted PR briefings, and prepared guidance materials in both “layman’s terms” for employers and detailed briefings for legal consultants.

Rebecca leads a team of senior Employment Law Consultants specialising in risk management and complex cases. She provides oversight and guidance on high-risk client matters, ensures consistent quality in advice delivery, and undertakes project work including legal research, drafting, and content creation. Additionally, she designs and delivers comprehensive training programmes, including hosting Avensure Live monthly CPD-accredited webinars to help clients and their teams stay up to date with evolving employment law requirements.

She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Manchester Metropolitan University as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy and Sociology.
